We deliver throughout Nigeria.

What delivery costs

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout from your delivery address and the size of your order, and are shown in full before you pay. Nothing is added afterwards.

Dispatch and delivery times

Orders placed before 12:00 on a working day are normally dispatched the same day. Orders placed later, or at a weekend or on a public holiday, are dispatched on the next working day.

Delivery is usually 1 to 3 working days within Lagos and 3 to 7 working days to other states. These are carrier estimates rather than guarantees.

You will receive a tracking reference by email when your order leaves us.

Delivery addresses

We deliver to residential and business addresses. Someone must be present to receive the parcel; if nobody is available the carrier will attempt redelivery. Please check the address before ordering — we can change it only while the order is still with us.

If something is wrong on arrival

Check your parcel on delivery. If anything is damaged, missing or not what you ordered, contact us at info@thescents.co.za within 7 days and we will put it right. This is in addition to your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018, set out on our Returns and Cancellations page.

Aerosols and flammable goods

Fragrance is classed as a flammable liquid and travels by road, not by air. That is a carrier restriction rather than a choice, and it is why some states take longer.
